Deputy Director of Investment


JOB LOCATIONS: GELEX Tower, 52 Le Dai Hanh, Hai Ba Trung, Ha Noi.


1. Manage assigned investment activities, including:

  • Develop investment policies, strategies, plans, and regulations in line with GELEX’s orientation.
  • Provide feedback on submissions and reports from capital representatives and member investment units regarding general issues such as operational organization, shareholder structure, capital structure, and strategy/investment plan development.
  • Advise and report to the Board of General Directors and the Board of Directors on the Group’s investment activities.

2. Lead, organize, and coordinate investment activities and execute assigned investment projects within the Group:

  • Identify, evaluate, appraise, and propose project investment opportunities; conduct comprehensive assessments of project feasibility and effectiveness in terms of finance, legal aspects, technical/construction, and operation.
  • Develop and implement the financial structure for projects (equity and debt capital); participate directly in arranging capital/loans for projects and oversee/support the disbursement process.
  • Execute investment projects and manage the assigned investment portfolio (including M&A, divestment, asset/portfolio restructuring).
  • Analyze and evaluate macroeconomic trends, industry conditions, financial aspects, and other investment activities within the Group.

3. Oversee the Investment Department/Team under the Investment Department:

  • Develop the functions, organizational model, and operating mechanisms for the department.
  • Handle recruitment, training, and human resource management, and address other general issues concerning the Investment Department.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Investment, Construction, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of work experience, with over 5 years in management and operations in relevant fields.
  • Strong knowledge of investment finance and project investment, with the ability to lead overall operations and manage investment activities.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and planning skills; strong organizational abilities; capable of working independently and in teams; proficient in communication and negotiation.
  • Independent and objective thinker; agile with a strategic vision; diligent and open to seeking advice.
  • Proficient in English and strong communication skills.
