GELEX Managers 2026 is more than a management training program. It is part of GELEX’s effort to build the capabilities the organization needs for its journey toward 2030.

From Strategy to Results

A strategy only matters when it leads to action and results in everyday work. Managers play a key role in making that happen. They take the direction set by the leadership team, turn it into clear goals, organize resources and bring people together to get the job done.

At GELEX, being a manager is about more than having strong professional skills or doing your own job well. It is also about knowing how to organize work, set priorities, bring a team together and help each person make the most of their abilities.

That is the idea behind GELEX Managers 2026, built around three priorities: “Translating Strategy into Action – Leading People – Delivering Results.” Running from September to December 2026, the program brings together 30 managers from GELEX Group and its sub-holdings.

From Doing the Job Well to Helping Others Succeed

Becoming a manager changes how you create value. As a specialist, you can make a difference through your own knowledge and expertise. As a manager, success depends not just on what you can do yourself, but on what your team can achieve together. That means learning to look at problems more systematically, choose the right priorities, organize resources and give people the space and support to take greater initiative in their work.

GELEX Managers is built around the challenges managers face every day. Methods such as Design Thinking and Agile are introduced not simply to give participants more knowledge, but to help them solve problems more clearly, work better with their teams and turn goals into concrete actions.

The aim is not to make every manager work in the same way. It is to give them a common foundation they can apply to their own roles and businesses. When managers share a clearer approach to setting goals, choosing priorities, organizing work and leading people, the organization becomes less dependent on each person’s individual experience and better able to work consistently across the Group.

Building Management Capabilities Means Building Organizational Capabilities

At GELEX, people development is not treated as a series of separate training programs. It is part of a broader effort to build capabilities across the organization, from senior leadership to management teams, in line with the needs of the business.

Before GELEX Managers, GELEX launched Future Makers 2026 for senior leaders. The two programs serve different but closely connected purposes. Future Makers focuses on leadership mindset, influencing others, building trust and leading the organization. GELEX Managers focuses on what comes next: turning direction into goals, organizing work and helping teams deliver results.

Future Makers focuses on leadership mindset, influencing others, building trust and leading the organization.

The two programs complement each other: leaders set the direction, and managers turn that direction into everyday work. What the organization ultimately achieves depends on how well everyone works together to put it into practice. For a group like GELEX, with businesses operating across different sectors, having managers who share a common foundation of thinking and working can help bring greater consistency to execution.

Preparing for 2030 Starts Within the Organization

The journey to 2030 is about more than growth targets and business performance. Moving forward also requires stronger management, better collaboration, capable people and the ability to turn plans into results.

Developing managers is part of that preparation. GELEX is gradually building a stronger management foundation, creating opportunities for people to grow and contribute more to the goals they share.

Strategy may begin with big decisions, but it comes to life through the smaller decisions people make every day: setting the right goal, assigning the right person to a task, giving feedback that helps someone improve or bringing a team together to solve a problem. Managers play a key role in making these everyday decisions count. That is why building GELEX’s management team is about more than developing individual leaders. It is about strengthening the organization’s ability to turn its strategic choices into results on the journey to 2030.
