On May 28, 2025, in Hanoi, SPX Express (SPX) marked a significant milestone by signing a strategic cooperation agreement to develop a parcel sorting hub at the Industrial Centre Yen My in Hung Yen province, this high-end industrial project is jointly developed by GELEX and Frasers Property Vietnam.

The hub is built on an area of 170,000 square meters, with construction set to commence in Q3 2025 at the Industrial Centre Yen My and is expected to be completed in Q4 2027.

Designed with SPX’s operational standards in mind, the Hub aims to meet demanding logistics requirements for handling large volumes of parcels while ensuring optimal delivery times. The Hub is also expected to create thousands of jobs, stimulate local economic growth, contribute to Hung Yen’s overall development, and enhance the nation’s logistics infrastructure.

The signing ceremony for this strategic cooperation to build SPX’s largest parcel sorting hub in Southeast Asia at Industrial Centre Yen My took place on May 28.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Quyen Tran, Director of SPX Express Vietnam, shared that this project is carried out to realize SPX’s vision and good contribution to the increasingly sustainable development of the domestic logistics industry, thereby raising SPX’s responsibility in the journey of building a more connected and comprehensive digital economy.

The center is located in the key production transit area of ​​the North, Hung Yen province. It forms part of the larger Industrial Centre Yen My project, which spans over 256,000 square meters and is jointly developed by GELEX and Frasers Property Vietnam, follows a premium and sustainable integrated industrial real estate model, offering flexible infrastructure solutions for businesses of various scales.

With a customer-centric focus, Industrial Centre Yen My also provides comprehensive support services, from master planning and design to construction and project management.

After more than two years of collaboration, the partnership between GELEX and Frasers Property Vietnam has launched large-scale industrial centers in the North, developed, built, managed and operated by Frasers Property Vietnam’s outstanding capacity according to international standards, combined with GELEX’s experience and understanding of the domestic market in the field of industrial park infrastructure. This will increase the attractiveness to international demand and attract foreign investment in green industrial parks which are increasingly increasing in Vietnam.
