This July 10th, GELEX Group celebrates its 35th anniversary. To mark this special milestone, the entire system is launching a meaningful series of activities under the overarching message: “GELEX 35 Years – Building the Future.”
More than a statement, this message is the crystallization of GELEX’s aspiration for innovation, pioneering mindset, and long-standing commitment to sustainable development over more than three decades.
This spirit is also embodied in GELEX’s 35th anniversary brand identity – designed on the foundation of core values that have built the Group’s reputation, while expanding creative possibilities in preparation for the journey ahead. In this new era of development, brand value is no longer measured solely by size or growth rate, but also by strategic vision and the ability to shape the future.

“Building” conveys proactiveness, creativity, and leadership. GELEX does not merely follow the current – it strives to create new values, set new trends, and contribute to the industry and the country’s development. “Future” here goes beyond GELEX’s own future – it also reflects the future of the community and society. GELEX is committed to pursuing sustainable development goals, ensuring balanced benefits for the business, shareholders, employees, and the broader community.
With the message “GELEX 35 Years – Building the Future,” the celebration activities span from June to August, carefully planned and simultaneously carried out across the system. Beyond strengthening internal unity, these activities aim to spread humanistic values – values deeply embedded in GELEX’s culture throughout its journey of growth.
A highlight of the program is the contest “My Gelex, My Story” – a creative space for GELEX people to express their emotions, memories, and journey with the company through poetry, writing, music, videos, and more. Each entry offers a heartfelt glimpse of the love for this shared home, while also evoking pride and nurturing the desire to innovate and contribute.
In parallel, the contest “One Vision, One Future” is being held system-wide as an invitation to co-create the future. Through collaboratively shaping the Vision – Mission – Slogan for GELEX Electric, every individual is not only helping to define a new identity for the business but also seeing themselves as an integral part of the organization’s journey of creating value.
To foster sportsmanship and strengthen connections between the Group and its subsidiaries, the online running event “The Journey of Pride” officially launched on the Strava app on July 1, 2025. It’s not just about physical training or work-life balance, but also a journey of heart, responsibility, and sharing. Every kilometer run is converted into donations for the “Books for Children” library fund – opening doors to knowledge for underprivileged children.

This year also marks the first time GELEX is organizing the voluntary blood donation drive “One Drop – One GELEX Heart” across four locations: Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai. The initiative supports the national blood reserve while reflecting GELEX’s strong spirit of community care. As of now, nearly 600 employees have registered to donate blood.

Beyond numbers and achievements, the past 35 years have been a journey shaped by dedication, creativity, and relentless effort from generations of GELEX employees across the system.
Challenges have never been absent throughout that journey. But driven by a deep belief and a strong desire to contribute to Vietnam’s development, GELEX people have always found ways to overcome and strive relentlessly for the dream they pursue.
Thirty-five years is long enough for GELEX to prove its maturity, management capabilities, strategic vision, and above all, its solid reputation among shareholders, partners, customers, employees, and the community.
