CADIVI appoints senior leaders
On the afternoon of May 3, Vietnam Electric Cable Joint Stock Company (CADIVI) held the Announcement Ceremony and awarded the decision to designate the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director/Legal Representative in Ho Chi Minh City.
CADIVI announced during the event that Mr. Le Ba Tho will take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors on May 3, 2024, succeeding Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, who had earlier tendered his resignation.
Mr. Le Ba Tho, born in 1981, has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has approximately 20 years of experience in finance and business administration, having held numerous key roles at various companies. At present, Mr. Tho holds the position of Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors of GELEX Group, which is the parent company of Gelex Electric Company and has over 96% of the shares of CADIVI. Mr. Tho is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of GELEX Infrastructure Joint Stock Company and a member of the Board of Directors of Viglacera Corporation – Joint Stock Company.
Speaking during the event, the new chairman of CADIVI’s Board of Directors, Mr. Le Ba Tho confirmed: “CADIVI’s newly appointed leaders are in charge of growing the business and achieving objectives in the upcoming phase. One of the most important things is to connect platforms that have existed for five decades while also innovating and keeping up with current trends so that CADIVI becomes more effective, modern, technological, and sustainable.”
Mr. Le Ba Tho also expressed his intention that CADIVI leaders and staff continue to promote the spirit of cooperation and consensus, with a focus on constructing and expanding a stable and sustainable company that would be the pride of CADIVI employees in particular, and the GELEX Group system in general.
CADIVI also announced during the ceremony that Mr. Ho Quang Nhan, Deputy General Director, will be appointed to hold the position of General Director, the Company’s legal representative, beginning on May 3, 2024.
On the afternoon of May 3, 2024, a signing ceremony was held to transfer over the role of General Director and legal representative of Vietnam Electric Cable Joint Stock Company (CADIVI).
On accepting the task, Mr. Ho Quang Nhan thanked the GELEX Group Board of Directors, Parent Company GELEX Electric, and CADIVI Board of Directors for entrusting him with the duty. Simultaneously, he expressed sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors and successive generations of CADIVI employees who have pioneered, nourished, constructed, and advanced the Company to emerge as the leading Electric Cable brand in Vietnam, thereby contributing to the nation’s growth for nearly five decades.
Mr. Nhan shared: “CADIVI’s Board of Directors will continue to inherit and promote the achievements that have been achieved and continue to make efforts, innovate and create, helping CADIVI continue to develop and achieve the set goals.”
Mr. Ho Quang Nhan stated that in his new role, he will collaborate with the CADIVI staff and the Board of Directors to concentrate on the goals established by the Board of Directors of the Company, promoting business and marketing activities; enhancing product research and development; and enhancing product quality to sustain position in the market.
In terms of development orientation, the CADIVI Board of Directors provided guidance at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, highlighting the importance of preserving the Southern market and developing the Central market, particularly the Northern market, through capacity enhancement, continue to develop the agent system. By focusing on R&D and embracing the green living trend, CADIVI has introduced several ground-breaking new products with exceptional, safely, and environmental friendly features.
The General Meeting of Shareholders also approved CADIVI’s production and business plan for 2024, which includes a consolidated revenue target of 11,068 billion VND and a consolidated pre-tax profit of 460 billion VND.
