As part of the GELEX Connection project to attract top talent, August 2025 marked another important step for GELEX Group as it signed cooperation agreements with several prestigious and influential universities in Southern Vietnam.

These include Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University, and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. All three institutions play a pivotal role in the higher education system of Southern Vietnam, with recognized strengths in engineering, technology, economics, and management, fields that are vital for the digital economy and modern industry.

Through these partnerships, students will gain opportunities to visit GELEX and its member companies, join internships, secure future job prospects, and receive scholarships. GELEX will also host student talk shows and collaborate with the universities in research and development (R&D) projects.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chau Dinh Thanh, Vice President of HCMUTE, expressed his honor in working with GELEX, one of Vietnam’s leading multi-industry investment groups. He emphasized that the partnership would help students access modern technologies, sharpen their professional skills, and nurture an innovative mindset. He added that this is not only the beginning of a strategic relationship but also the foundation for training future engineers with high expertise to meet labor market demands.

Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University, a top institution in engineering education, expressed strong support for GELEX’s vision. The university proposed practical models of collaboration, drawing inspiration from advanced international practices such as those in Japan. Together, both parties will develop roadmaps for short- and long-term cooperation, aligning on shared projects and gradually turning plans into reality.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, President of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, highlighted the university’s strengths in economics research and its growing investments in technology. He expressed confidence that this collaboration with GELEX will lead to joint projects in investment and research, enhancing value, efficiency, and performance for both sides.

Launched with a 10-year roadmap (2025–2035), the GELEX Connection project aims to build a complete and sustainable ecosystem between the Group and academic institutions. Beyond attracting top talent, GELEX’s greater ambition is to cultivate a generation of leaders capable of driving Vietnam’s industrial and economic transformation in the new era.
