As part of the initiative, GELEX donated 150 hospital beds and one ventilator to the Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Tuong Duong Medical Center, Ky Son Medical Center, and Con Cuong Medical Center. The Group also supported the upgrade and refurbishment of four patient rooms at Nghe An Friendship General Hospital.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Le Thi Hoai Chung, Director of the Nghe An Department of Health, expressed her appreciation: “Our sincere thanks to GELEX for always caring about the healthcare sector of Nghe An and the well-being of our people. This timely and meaningful support will improve service quality, strengthen treatment capacity, and bring more peaceful nights of rest to cancer patients and many others across the province.”

Nghe An is still one of the provinces facing many challenges in healthcare infrastructure. Demand for medical services continues to rise, but equipment and facilities, especially in remote and mountainous areas, remain limited. As a result, many patients with severe or complex conditions must be transferred to central hospitals, leading to higher costs, added pressure on upper-level facilities, and the risk of missing the “golden window” for treatment.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien, Chairman of GELEX, receives a letter of appreciation from the leadership of the Nghe An Department of Health.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien, Chairman of GELEX, emphasized: “At GELEX, we believe that growing as a business also means caring for the community. This support comes from the hearts of more than 8,000 GELEX employees, with the hope that it brings patients more comfort and strength. And we send our deepest thanks to the doctors and medical staff, the silent heroes who work day and night to protect lives and give people hope.”

This assistance will help us continue improving patient care and critical care services. We are committed to using the sponsorship responsibly and sustainably.”

For many years, GELEX has followed a development strategy rooted in creating long-term value for society. Social responsibility, especially in healthcare, remains a top priority for the Group. GELEX believes that a healthy, well-supported community is the foundation for the sustainable development of both businesses and the nation.
