This result is based on the revenue indicators, return on equity, and return on equity and rate of return for investors for 3 successive years (from 2019-2021) of GELEX Group.

In the Honoring Ceremony that took place on December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, GELEX Group was honored in the category “Top 50 most effective business companies in Vietnam in 2022”. This is a special event honoring many companies with larger scales, higher capitalization value, and strong growth rates that are worthy of pride for the country.

“Top 50 most effective business companies in Vietnam” is an annual ranking of value and prestige by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine in collaboration with Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company, with the consultation of leading economic and business experts from Harvard Business School toward its goal of searching and honoring companies that have business effectively on Vietnam’s securities market.

TOP 50 is deployed on the basis of measuring business results of companies for 3 successive years, based on 3 growth indicators: the revenue, return on equity (ROE), and profit margin for investors. The measurement results aim to objectively assess the corporate governance capacity of the enterprise.

Over the past 3 years, overcoming the impacts of Covid-19 and the instability of global macroeconomics, GELEX has maintained a stable growth rate.

From 2019 to 2021, GELEX Group’s revenue increased by 27.7%; return on equity (ROE) increased by 10.7%, and profit margin for investors increased by 188.5%.

In 2021, the Group achieved a consolidated net revenue of VND 28,578 billion, and a consolidated profit before tax of VND 2,057 billion. At the end of the third quarter of 2022, GELEX’s total consolidated net revenue was VND 24,729 billion, an increase of 29% over the same period. Consolidated profit before tax reached VND 1,767 billion, increased by 25% compared to the same period in 2021, completing 68% of the whole year 2022 plan.
