On the afternoon of February 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security organized a meeting to honor and reward outstanding collectives and individuals in the fields of sports and culture and arts. The Minister of Public Security and President of the Vietnam People’s Police Sports Association, General Luong Tam Quang, presided over the recognition meeting.

In his speech at the meeting, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang affirmed: To achieve outstanding accomplishments, in addition to the close and direct leadership of the Central Police Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security; the coordination and facilitation from various departments, ministries, sectors, and localities; and the efforts of leaders, officials, and the teams of artists, coaches, and athletes in the People’s Police sports, there has also been support and collaboration from federations, associations, organizations, and enterprises outside the force. This has contributed to bringing the image of the People’s Police and its partner units closer to the public and fans, providing meaningful spiritual value for the community in general and for the officers and soldiers of the People’s Police in particular.
