On September 5, GELEX Managers 2026 will officially begin, bringing together middle managers from GELEX and its member companies for a new development journey. More than a training program, GELEX Managers is the next step in the Group’s leadership development journey, following GELEX Future Makers for senior leaders and extending that journey to the middle management level.

Preparations for GELEX Managers 2026 are now entering the final stretch. The participant list is being finalized, training content is being reviewed, and assessments, coaching sessions and post-training activities are being prepared ahead of the September opening.

Thirty participants from GELEX, GELEX Electric and GELEX Infrastructure will take part in the program from September to December 2026. But what the program is designed to achieve goes well beyond the classroom.

At the heart of it is a simple question: what does it mean to be a GELEX Manager.

The GELEX Manager: Connecting Strategy with Execution

In a large organization, strategy may be set by senior leadership, but turning strategy into results takes people across the organization moving in the same direction. That is where middle managers play a critical role. They need to understand where the organization is heading and what it is trying to achieve, while staying close to the day-to-day work of their teams – setting priorities, solving problems, making decisions and delivering results

A GELEX Manager, therefore, is more than someone who manages work. It is someone who can turn strategy into clear goals and action, bring people together to deliver, and continuously improve the way work gets done.

These three responsibilities form the three pillars of the GELEX Managers journey through 2030: Translating Strategy – Leading People – Delivering Results.

Learning Doesn’t Stop at the Classroom

2026 is the first year of the GELEX Managers development journey, with a focus on building strong management fundamentals. Participants will explore topics ranging from the manager’s mindset and Design Thinking to organizing and managing work through Agile. The goal is to help them turn strategic goals into clear KPIs, set priorities, understand problems, work effectively across teams and improve how work gets done.

But perhaps the most important part of the program happens after the classroom. GELEX Managers 2026 follows the 70–20–10 learning approach, combining formal learning with coaching, conversations with leaders and, most importantly, application in real work. After each session, participants are expected to take something back to their teams: a clearer way to set goals, a better approach to delegation, a different perspective on a problem, or an improved process. Because the real measure of the program is not simply “What did you learn?” It is “What changed in the way you work?”

From GELEX Future Makers to GELEX Managers

GELEX Managers is the next chapter in the leadership development journey GELEX is building across the organization. In July, GELEX Future Makers 2026 brought together the Group’s senior leaders to explore a broader view of leadership – one that goes beyond title and authority and is built on influence, trust, responsibility and the ability to bring people together. Now, in early September, that journey continues with GELEX Managers, bringing the focus to the Group’s middle management team

GELEX Future Makers 2026 for the Group’s senior leadership team took place in July 2026.

GELEX Future Makers 2026 for the Group’s senior leadership team took place in July 2026.

If Future Makers focused on leadership at the senior level, GELEX Managers brings that thinking closer to the day-to-day reality of leading people, managing priorities and delivering results. Because strategy only creates value when it is translated into the right decisions, consistent actions and effective collaboration across the organization. And managers are the people who make that translation happen every day.

That is ultimately what GELEX Managers is about: not simply developing individual managers, but building a management team with a shared mindset, common ways of working and stronger execution capabilities – a team that can turn strategy into action as GELEX moves toward 2030.

On September 5, GELEX Managers 2026 will begin. What matters will not simply be what these 30 participants learn along the way, but how they lead differently, what they deliver differently, and what changes they bring back to their teams.
