This is the first year that Vietnam Report has announced this list to honor corporations capable of creating ecosystems, elevating governance standards, and promoting sustainable growth models.

It also serves as a transparent and comprehensive measure for corporations that not only demonstrate strong investment performance but also possess the ability to create new development models, enhance governance standards, and make positive contributions to Vietnam’s economy.

The ranking is built on an analytical framework consisting of three pillars: investment and financial performance; governance and resilience; influence and leadership. Mr. Vu Dang Vinh, CEO of Vietnam Report, introduced the concept of “Alpha 2.0 – The Power to Create” to replace the traditional Alpha 1.0, emphasizing that strategic enterprises are not only those achieving good results but also those capable of creating results sustainably, playing a role in shaping the market rather than merely benefiting from it.

Vietnam Report’s assessment highlights the strategies that help enterprises become true “Alphas” and create superior strength.

According to the report, the ALPHA30 group reached total assets of nearly VND 2.43 quadrillion, employed around 540,000 workers, and generated total revenue of more than VND 1.1 quadrillion, equivalent to about 9.5% of Vietnam’s nominal GDP in 2024. On average, each corporation owns total assets of about VND 81.022 trillion, approximately 3.6 times larger than those of the next-tier enterprises.

Although the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of ALPHA30’s revenue during 2020 – 2024 was only 11.6%, lower than the nominal GDP growth rate (16.3%), this does not indicate a slowdown but rather a sign of deep restructuring and strategic transformation within these corporations.

With these figures and analyses, ALPHA30 positions itself as a “strategic map” that helps the business community and investors identify the leading organizations in investment capability, governance, and value creation.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Deputy CEO of GELEX Group, receiving the ALPHA30 trophy and certificate at the announcement ceremony on October 28.

In this context, GELEX Group is proud to be honored among the Top 30 Strategic Investment Corporations in Vietnam – ALPHA30 2025.

Being listed in this ranking is not only recognition of GELEX’s scale and investment efficiency but also a testament to the Group’s capability in building strategic investment models, implementing modern governance, and leading sustainable development trends.

Going further, Vietnam Report emphasizes that corporations like GELEX are identified through a “capital-market-oriented communication model,” using financial reports, M&A deals, and restructuring activities as key materials to build investor trust.

This reflects both GELEX’s governance capacity and transparency, as well as its strategic vision in continuously taking the initiative in investment, expansion, and restructuring across both breadth and depth.

GELEX’s recognition is proof of the transformation journey of a major Vietnamese enterprise, one that is ready to lead investment flows, shape new development models, and create value for the national economy.

The journey ahead will require even greater adaptability to market fluctuations, continuous innovation, faster digital transformation, stronger ESG implementation, and the creation of an investment ecosystem.

With its current position, GELEX fully possesses the capability to create, to expand its influence, and to remain among Vietnam’s leading strategic enterprises.
