GELEX Electric Joint Stock Company (HoSE:  GEE – GELEX Electric) has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Le Ba Tho as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective from March 25, 2025. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Tho served as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Profile of Le Ba Tho

Born in 1981, Mr. Le Ba Tho holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance and business management, he has held numerous key leadership positions in various enterprises. Currently, Mr. Tho serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of GELEX Group, the parent company of GELEX Electric. He is also the Chairman of the Board of GELEX Infrastructure JSC, Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation (CADIVI), and Long Son Petroleum Investment JSC, as well as a Board member of Viglacera Corporation – JSC.

As a long-time leader within the GELEX system Mr. Tho has played a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial and management strategies across the entire organization.  His expertise in business operations has been instrumental in steering strategic direction for the Infrastructure and Electrical Equipment sectors.

Notably, since assuming the role of Chairman of the Board at CADIVI in May 2024, Mr. Tho, alongside the company’s leadership team, has implemented significant innovations. His strategic vision for customer relations, market expansion, and product development has helped CADIVI strengthen its position as a key entity within GELEX Electric’s Electrical Equipment division.

Mr. Le Ba Tho succeeds Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, who did not seek re-election to the Board of GELEX Electric for the new term, opting instead to focus on business operations.

The Board of Directors of GELEX Electric for the 2025-2030 term consists of five members: Mr. Le Ba Tho (Chairman of the Board of Directors) and 04 members: Mr. Dang Phan Tuong; Mr. Do Duy Hung; Mr. Nguyen Trong Trung and Mr. Nguyen Duc Luyen.
