On the afternoon of March 6, 2026, at Fairmont Hanoi, GELEX Group held its Q1/2026 Town Hall combined with a celebration of International Women’s Day under the theme Em’s Day.

With Innovation as the central theme, the Town Hall was not only a space for dialogue and sharing, but also an opportunity for employees to see how this core value is nurtured through everyday ideas, actions, and collaboration at work.

During the event, Ms. Mai Thi Minh Thu, Chief Human Resources Officer of GELEX Group and Head of the Corporate Culture Project, introduced the direction for Phase 2 of the corporate culture initiative in 2026. According to her, 2026 is defined as a year of action, where cultural values are not only discussed but practiced through concrete changes in how people work, collaborate, and deliver results. The theme of Innovation will run throughout the first and second quarters of the year.

Also at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Director of Communications at GELEX Group, introduced and launched the GELEX Mascot Design Contest with the message “Sketch the Identity – Lead the Change.”

The contest encourages employees across the Group to co-create a mascot that represents GELEX’s spirit of innovation – a symbol that can tell the company’s cultural story in a way that is engaging, relatable, and easy to share. “The GELEX mascot is expected to reflect creativity, technology, and connection. Through this contest, we hope colleagues across GELEX will join us in designing a mascot for the ‘I Change’ corporate culture initiative,” Ms. Nhung shared.

The spirit of innovation during the program was reflected not only through new initiatives but also through simple and heartfelt gestures. The activity “Writing about the women around me,” organized in celebration of International Women’s Day, created many meaningful moments as appreciation cards filled with gratitude and personal stories were shared with female colleagues. Many employees chose to express their recognition through poems, drawings, or heartfelt messages.

Within just three days of launching, the activity “Writing about the women around me” received numerous appreciation cards from employees in many creative forms.

During the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, CEO of GELEX Group, extended his congratulations to all female employees of GELEX on the occasion of International Women’s Day and acknowledged their contributions to the Group’s development. “In GELEX’s achievements, there is always the presence of our female colleagues, those who are graceful, dedicated, and persistent in their work,” he shared. The CEO also emphasized that GELEX’s strategy places people at the center, creating opportunities for female employees to develop their capabilities, grow professionally, and continue contributing to the Group’s future.

The atmosphere of the event became even more lively with performances presented by GELEX employees themselves. From energetic musical performances to surprising and humorous acts, the program created a friendly and open space where individuals could express their personalities and creativity.

During the event, the leadership team also presented flowers to the female Presidents of the Trade Unions of GELEX Corporation and its two sub-holdings, along with thoughtful gifts to all female employees as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and contributions.

Closing the program, Em’s Day not only brought warm and memorable moments for GELEX employees but also marked the beginning of a new journey under the theme of Innovation for GELEX’s internal cultural initiatives in 2026.

From small ideas being heard, initiatives being encouraged, to everyday acts of collaboration and support, the spirit of creativity is gradually becoming a natural part of GELEX’s culture, strengthening the internal foundation for the Group’s long-term development journey.
