The Members’ Council of Vietnam Copper Wire Company CFT has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Nguyễn Chí Đức as General Director and legal representative, effective July 1, 2025.

Born in 1983, Mr. Đức holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance. He began his career within the GELEX system on April 1, 2005, and has since taken on several key roles, including Head of Sales Forecasting at CADIVI, Chief Accountant and Head of HR Accounting at CADIVI’s Eastern Branch, Financial Controller at CFT, and most recently, Deputy General Director cum Financial Controller at CFT.

His extensive experience across different business functions over the past two decades has given him deep insight into CFT’s operations, a strong understanding of market dynamics, and a clear grasp of the strategic direction of both GELEX Electric and the broader GELEX Group.

Mr. Đức succeeds Mr. Phạm Thanh Nghị, who made significant contributions during his term as General Director. Under Mr. Nghị’s leadership, CFT successfully relocated its operations to a new site, restructured its organization for greater efficiency, and revitalized its business performance  – helping the company reclaim its leading position in Vietnam’s copper wire industry.

CFT was named “Star of the Year” within the GELEX Group for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024, a testament to the strong leadership and team efforts that propelled the company’s success.
