Viglacera is planning to spend over VND 448 billion to pay the remaining dividend for 2022
On June 21, Viglacera will spend VND 448.3 billion to pay the remaining dividend for 2022 with a payment rate of 10%, corresponding to shareholders owning 1 share receiving VND 1,000.
The Board of Directors (BOD) of Viglacera Joint Stock Company (Ticker Symbol: VGC) has issued a resolution to pay the remaining dividend for 2022 in cash.
Specifically, on June 1, Viglacera will finalize the list of shareholders to pay the remaining dividend for 2022 with a payment rate of 10%, corresponding to shareholders owning 1 share receiving VND 1,000. The payment date is on June 21.
Therefore, with 448.3 million outstanding shares, Viglacera will spend around VND 448.3 billion to pay dividends to shareholders this time.
The company also stated that the source of dividend payment is from profits after tax that has not been distributed based on the results of business operations in 2022.
Previously, on October 19, 2022, the company also spent VND 448.3 billion to advance 10% of the 2022 dividend, the source of the advance dividend payment was from profits after tax that had not been distributed based on the results of business operations in the first 6 months of 2022.
In addition, the company plans to distribute a 20% dividend in 2023.
Regarding Viglacera’s business plan, the company plans to achieve total revenue of VND 15,750 billion this year, up by 8% compared to the actual results achieved in 2022, and profit before tax of VND 1,210 billion, down by 47.5%.
Regarding the profit distribution plan, the company said that if the profit before tax of the parent company exceeds the plan, it will consider allocating up to 10% of the profit to the science and technology development fund, and allocate other funds as required by regulations.
To achieve the above plans this year, Viglacera will continue to invest in the Viglacera Eurotile Brick Factory Project (acquisition of Bach Ma Factory and additional investment), focusing on completing the new large-sized product line (Vasta stone) to meet the domestic and export markets of Viglacera Tien Son Joint Stock Company.
