Six interactive displays and three air-conditioning units are giving teachers at Binh Minh Primary School more ways to bring lessons to life, while creating a more comfortable learning environment for the children.
On August 24, as students at Binh Minh Primary School in Hanoi returned to school for the new academic year, they received a special gift. Song Da Clean Water Investment JSC (VIWASUPCO) donated six interactive displays and three air-conditioning units, providing practical support for students’ learning and daily activities.

Located on Tho Nhuom Street in Hanoi, Binh Minh Primary School has a unique role in education. Established in 1993, the school provides primary education while also supporting inclusive education for students with intellectual disabilities.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the school, Pham Van Hoan, Principal of Binh Minh Primary School, shared his appreciation: “This gift means a great deal to Binh Minh Primary School. It gives our teachers better tools to design their lessons and helps the children engage with what they are learning more naturally.”
The six interactive displays and three air-conditioning units, worth a total of VND 200 million, are are more than an investment in the school’s facilities; they provide practical support for both teaching and learning. Interactive displays allow teachers to make lessons more visual, vary their teaching methods and engage students more directly, while air-conditioning helps create a more comfortable environment for learning.
“It is not only a better start to a new school year. It is also a message of encouragement for the children as they begin a new journey with more joy and better learning conditions”, said Principal Pham Van Hoan.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Xuan Quy, CEO of VIWASUPCO, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the school, teachers and parents in supporting children with special needs. “We truly appreciate the efforts of the school, teachers and parents in supporting these students. We hope the equipment we have donated will make a practical difference to teaching and learning”, he said.
The initiative at Binh Minh Primary School is also part of GELEX Group’s broader commitment to giving back to the community. The Group connects resources, encourages and supports its member companies in creating social value, while each company finds ways to contribute that are relevant to its business, its local area and the communities it is part of.

Nguyen Hong Nhung, Chief Communications Officer at GELEX Group, said: “From the Group’s overall direction to the actions taken by each member company, the value of giving is not measured simply by how much is given. What matters is putting resources where they are truly needed and creating meaningful change”.
For the students of Binh Minh Primary School, the first day of the 2026–2027 school year therefore became a special new beginning: new equipment in their classrooms, better conditions for learning, and, perhaps most importantly, more people standing alongside them as they learn, grow and take their next steps.
