Inauguration of Vietnam’s largest Sintered Stone factory

On September 11, 2023, at the Viglacera Eurotile’s factory, in Ba Ria Vung Tau province, Viglacera Corporation – Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to introduce the Continua+ production line technology for sintered stone from Sacmi (Italy) and unveiled a construction project sign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s Construction industry.

The Continua+ production line technology for sintered stone from Sacmi (Italy) at Viglacera Eurotile factory invested by Viglacera Corporation. This is a large-scale project, on a factory land area of 27.8 hectares, with a total investment capital of 1,206 billion VND located in My Xuan A Industrial Park, Phu My Town. The total capacity of the line is over 2 million m2/year.

Sintered Stone is a high-end product, is manufactured using the world’s most advanced Continua+ technology from Sacmi (Italy). This type of stone is friendly environment and has numerous outstanding advantages over natural stone and other artificial stone materials, this product helps reduce the exploitation of natural resources; are highly suitable for national key projects such as stations, international airports… as well as luxury architectural projects since it offers limitless applications and beauty, creating spacious and elegant architectural spaces.

Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Construction, as well as leaders of various departments and bureaus under the Ministry. Also, in attendance was Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, along with leaders of departmental and industrial zone management boards in the province. Other attendees included partners, investors, architects’ associations, distributors, and the leadership of Viglacera Corporation and its subsidiaries.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi – the Minister of Construction, affirmed during the ceremony that Viglacera has a long history and tradition in production and business in many fields, especially in the production and construction materials business. Some of the company’s products and services have become reputable brands, dominating the domestic market and gradually increasing the proportion of exports.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau province said that Viglacera’s adoption of advanced technology in production, contributing to waste reduction and environmental impact mitigation in manufacturing large-sized porcelain titles and sintered stone is evidence of the company’s determination in innovation and sustainable development. It aligns with the province’s investment attraction direction in recent times.

Along with the framework of the ceremony, The Vietnam Record Association has awarded a certificate for the ‘Largest Sintered Stone slab in Vietnam,’ with established dimensions of 1.62m x 3.31m produced by the newly-come-into-operation production line at the Viglacera Eurotile factory. With its manufacturing capacity, Viglacera is capable of supplying sintered stone slabs with thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 20mm, catering to the needs of various construction projects.

This event marks a significant milestone in the Viglacera’s mastery of the world’s most advanced technology, reaffirming its manufacturing capacity and the quality of its products. On the same day, the ceremony to install a construction project sign in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s construction industry was solemnly placed on the largest sintered stone slab in Vietnam.
